Imi place sa fac experimente in gradina.

I like experimenting in the garden. In case you haven’t read the page “About this blog”, please be aware that I am no gardening expert, so my experiments will be simple.

Cum locul radacinilor este in pamant, mi-am zis sa incerc sa plantez o ramura in gradina.

One experiment was this one: in the spring of 2010 I bought a bunch of sallow twigs in bloom. Which I kept in a vase on the window sill, to show off 🙂 And when I thought it is time to change the contents of the vase, I noticed that the twigs had gotten roots. And as roots belong in the earth, I thought I should try and plant a twig in the garden. (Unfortunately, I don’t have a photo of that time.)

In the summer of the same year, the twig became a small tree (see the pic above).

In februarie 2011 pomisorul s-a umplut de muguri.

In February 2011, the small tree was full of  buds.

Iar in martie, mugurii s-au transformat in asa ceva:

And in March, the buds turned into this:

Iar anul acesta avem un pom in toata regula, de vreo 4 metri, care in primavara asta ne-a oferit acest spectacol:

And this year we have a real tree, of about 4 meters, which in the spring gave us this show:

Iar acum arata asa:

And now it looks like this:

Parerea mea: experimentul a reusit!

I say: experiment succedeed!
