See above our mini front garden (this is an “after” pic). A part of its plants have been destroyed by some works we had done and I wasn’t too happy with the way things were, anyway, so it was perfect time for a change. Also because (as I read on another gardening blog), fall is the best period for planting perennial plants, as the roots have time until spring to get adjusted and many plants are on sale.

Unlike ever, I did some internet research, trying to make a plan so that we would have flowers in the garden most of the year. But of course, the plants I had written down were not available in the store. So I improvised, as always🙂

I went for one Callicarpa, I just could not resist these amazing purple berries!

Am ales o Callicarpa, nu am putut rezista acestor boabe mov incredibile!

Then came these hopefully yellow blooming ones (2 kinds). When we bought them, they were already ready for their winter sleep, so we’ll see them in full glory next year.

The plastic sticks mark the new plants (not that visible otherwise).

About two weeks later I added some bulbs for an extra colour boost coming spring:

I’m looking forward to next spring and summer, hoping to see all these flowers, until then PATIENCE (what’s new?)🙂

Abia astept primavara si vara viitoare, in speranta ca voi vedea toate florile acestea, pana atunci RABDARE (nimic nou!)🙂
