The lavatera played quite a trick on me. We’ve had one for a couple of years, it was amazing, it grew about 2 meters high and kept blooming, so: great.

The first spring I pruned it, it came back even richer. But the second spring I think I exagerated and cut it just too short, so it refused to grow.

Regretfully, I gave it up and 2 years later (last year) I bought a new small one, because I had liked it too much.

Last year, it was bearly noticeable.

But this year… big surprise 🙂 We have several lavateras in  the area close to where the old one used to be. I even moved one further into the garden and it is doing fine, fully in bloom.

Lovely, aren’t they?

Lavatera m-a cam pacalit. Am avut una vreo doi ani, a fost incredibila, crescuse de vreo doi metri si era in continuu inflorita, deci: minunat.

In prima primavara am taiat-o urmand instructiunile, drept urmare a crescut si mai bogata.

Foarte dragute, nu-i asa?
